250 Horses. 1,000 Motorbikes. One Extraordinary Day.

250 Horses. 1,000 Motorbikes. One Extraordinary Day.

Picture the scene. Hundreds of horses arriving at one of Cheshire's most prestigious equine venues. Motorbikes rolling in from across the country, from vintage classics to modern superbikes and the trusty commuter that does the daily journey in all weathers. People meeting old friends, making new ones and taking part in something they'll remember long after the day is over.

Now imagine two ambitious world record attempts happening at the same event.

On 17 April 2027, Mental Health 360 plans to bring the equestrian and motorcycling communities together at one of Cheshire's most exclusive locations for a day with a rather different approach to fundraising. Our ambitions include an attempt involving 250 horses and another bringing together 1,000 motorbikes, alongside an affiliated equestrian event and activities for visitors. The record attempts are plans at this stage; any formal record recognition will depend on the applicable rules and verification.

It's an unusual combination. That's rather the point.

Horses, horsepower and the people behind them

Equi Mind and Bikers' Mind were created around communities with a great deal in common. Both bring people together through a shared passion. Both can demand early mornings, long journeys, substantial expense and a fair amount of commitment from families who don't always understand why another saddle or motorcycle part is absolutely essential.

They also provide friendship, purpose and an escape from the pressures of everyday life. When injury, money worries, isolation or difficult circumstances interrupt that connection, the impact can reach well beyond the stable or garage.

We want this event to celebrate everything these communities enjoy while introducing the support available when life isn't quite so straightforward. There will be plenty to talk about that has nothing to do with mental health, and that's how it should be. Sometimes the best conversations begin because people have come together to enjoy something they love.

An event worth coming to in its own right

We're planning a day that gives riders, owners, motorcyclists, families and businesses a reason to be there. The equestrian programme will bring its own energy, while the motorbike gathering aims to welcome the full breadth of the riding community. The two world record attempts are intended to create memorable moments, but the people who take part will make the day.

There is room here for local businesses, equestrian suppliers, motorcycle dealers, clubs and organisations to become involved. We want to work with people who can bring something interesting to the event, whether that's an activity, specialist expertise, sponsorship or simply helping us reach the communities we'd love to welcome.

We'll share the confirmed programme, entry arrangements and practical details as planning progresses. For now, 17 April 2027 is a date to put in the diary.

Sharing the day with other charities

There's another reason we're putting so much energy into this event. A major venue and an ambitious programme can be beyond the reach of a smaller charity, however good its work may be. Rather than keeping the opportunity to ourselves, we want to invite a handful of smaller grassroots charities to be part of the day.

It's a practical expression of something we believe strongly: collaboration can create opportunities that are difficult to achieve alone. We want those organisations to meet new supporters, make useful connections and share in an occasion they might never have had the resources to organise independently.

For Mental Health 360, whose charitable heritage stretches back to 2003, this is also a chance to introduce Equi Mind and Bikers' Mind to more people in a way that feels true to the communities they're designed for.

Could you be part of it?

If you'd like to take part in either planned record attempt, represent a club, discuss sponsorship or bring your business to the event, we'd love to hear from you. And if you run a smaller charity doing good work in your community, tell us about it and why being involved could make a difference.

Share the date with the horse owners and motorcyclists you know. On 17 April 2027, we'd like to bring a remarkable number of them together for a very good reason.

And yes, it's for charity.
