About Mental Health 360
We're a mental health charity. Just not a very traditional one.
Our story started in Lichfield, Staffordshire, in 2003. More than two decades later, those roots still matter to us, but the world has changed. The pressures people face, the way we live and work, and how people want to access support have changed too.
We think charities need to keep pace with the communities they serve.
Today, we’re growing Mental Health 360 to reach people and communities across all four nations of the UK. We’re combining accessible mental health support, partnerships and professional services to build a stronger, more sustainable charity.
We’re proud of where we’ve come from and ambitious about where we’re going.
Helping People and Organisations Thrive
Mental health can affect any of us, but the reasons we struggle can be very different. Work pressures, raising a family, running a farm, caring for someone, financial worries or simply dealing with change can all take their toll.
That thinking shapes how we develop support. We don't think everything should look, sound or feel the same, or that everyone should have to access help in the same way.
Rural Mind, Carers Mind, Equi Mind, Trade Mind, Seasoned Mind and Bikers' Mind help us take more relevant conversations into particular communities. They're not about putting people into boxes. They're about understanding who we're trying to reach.
Accessibility matters too. We take services into rural communities, provide support by telephone and video, use digital communication including WhatsApp where appropriate, and work with partners already connected to their communities.
For some people, that flexibility can make the difference between support being available and genuinely accessible.
We also understand the pressures facing charities because we experience them ourselves. MH360 supports other organisations with growth, income development, technology, marketing and accountancy.
But providing services is only part of it. We welcome joint funding opportunities, shared expertise and partnership working. If another organisation is better placed to reach a community, we'd rather work together than duplicate what's already there.
We take a similar approach to business. Donations, sponsorship and volunteering are hugely valuable, but there is scope for much more in a relationship between a business and a charity.
That could mean employee mental health support, professional services, shared expertise or working together to create meaningful social value.
Through MH360 Legal, we're also working with the legal sector to provide mental health and rehabilitation support for people dealing with the impact of injury and other difficult experiences.
All of this contributes to how we're building a sustainable charity. Grants, fundraising and donations remain incredibly important, but they don't have to be the whole answer.
Through MH360, we provide professional services including Technology, Growth, Marketing and Accountancy, alongside specialist services such as MH360 Legal and MH360 Entitled. The income they generate helps us invest in our charitable work and reach more people.
What comes next?
More than twenty years after our story began, our purpose remains the same: supporting people and communities.
How we deliver that support reflects life today, using accessible services, partnerships and technology to reach more people in ways that work for them.
Our heritage gives us strong foundations. Our focus is firmly on what comes next.
