Free Counselling

Professional counselling shouldn't always depend on what you can afford.

Mental Health 360 provides a limited number of free counselling places for people who may not otherwise be able to pay for professional support.

Our counselling is provided by experienced, qualified counsellors registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Free counselling places are subject to funding and availability.

Helping People and Organisations Thrive

Why are places limited?

Professional counselling is expensive to provide.

We believe counsellors should be appropriately qualified, professionally registered and fairly paid for the work they do.

As a charity, the amount of free counselling we can provide depends on the funding available to us. We would like to help everyone who asks, but we simply don’t have unlimited funds.

That means we have to manage the places we can fund carefully.

You may have other options

Free counselling through Mental Health 360 is one option.

You may also be able to access free counselling or talking therapies through the NHS. What’s available and how long you may have to wait can vary, so it’s worth checking the options in your area.

What happens next?

When funded counselling places are available, our team will contact people who have registered an interest.

We can then talk privately about the service, whether it may be suitable and any information we need before counselling can be arranged.

The counselling itself

Free doesn’t mean a different standard of counselling.

If you’re offered a funded place, your counselling will be provided by an experienced, qualified counsellor registered with BACP.

Counselling is available online or by telephone and there is no charge to you for the counselling Mental Health 360 has agreed to fund.

If we can't offer you a place

You can still use our free Knowledge Library, and you may also wish to explore counselling or talking therapies available through the NHS.

Register for funded counselling

Our counselling services are for adults aged 18 and over.

If paying for counselling would be difficult and you would like to be considered when funded places are available, register your details below.
