The programme prioritises community-led activities that fill gaps in local services and give social prescribers more options to help people.
HPC Community Fund: Youth Pathways Partnership (Expression of Interest)Somerset Community FoundationUp to £400,000This programme by Somerset Community Foundation offers up to £400,000 over two years for partnerships supporting young people in areas affected by the Hinkley Point C development. Local charities and community groups can apply together to provide safe spaces, mental health support, and routes into local employment. Shortlisted groups will also receive a £10,000 grant to help them plan and design their joint work.
Community Safety Fund – Medium GrantsHumberside Police and Crime CommissionerUp to £35,000The Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner is offering grants between £5,001 and £35,000 to help local organisations buy equipment that improves community safety and cuts crime. Charities, community groups, and local authorities in Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, and North or North East Lincolnshire can apply. This funding round focuses on capital costs like security measures, CCTV, and activity equipment rather than day-to-day running costs, and applicants must provide some match funding.
